Friday 6 April, 2018 is set to be a glorious day for the youth of Embu County. As it has been said of old, ignorance is no defense. It is on this premise that the County Assembly of Embu with compliments of nominated MCA Hon. Martin Mwangi shares this rare opportunity with all development-minded young people in this land of opportunities.

Since this government came to power again for the second term, there have been a few complaints that the youth are getting sidelined in development matters, with some expressing discontent with the amount allocated for youth fund. Now, those who have been judging the MCAs as having not been doing enough to voice the youth agenda in the House have a chance to stand in the Chambers of the County Assembly and make their sentiments known. Here below is an open invitation to the occasion, complete with details of the agenda and names of some of the dignitaries expected to be in attendance:
Hon. Martin Mwangi has been a charitable person since long before he was nominated to the Assembly to represent the less fortunate in the society. He has been running 'Youth of Hope Movement' an NGO that is concerned with the plight of orphaned and vulnerable children; feeding, clothing, sheltering and educating them. For this noble cause among others, he has been nominated in the forthcoming Embu Awards season 2 in two categories namely: Young Leader of the Year and Outstanding Contributor Award. Hon. Mwangi has been considered for the second edition of Embu Awards 2018 under the banner of Okoa Kijana Initiative.
As indicated in the above nomination notification letter, voting will commence on 10 April at noon and close on 25 April, 2018. He urges all persons of good will to vote for him when the time comes.
