CITIZEN TV KENYA BLOGGERS SHOULD PAY KSH.5 MILLION OR BE JAILED

Fake news: A tweet spreading false information
So soon after the president of the Republic of Kenya assented the Computer Misuse and Cyber crimes Bill 2018, bloggers for one of the mainstream media houses could be first to face the law and be an example to others with similar tendencies.
The above post shared on the media house's official Twitter handle is clearly fake news. Claiming that Embu county has no governor is not only an embarrassment to the incumbent governor H.E. Martin Wambora but also to the county as a whole.

If the legal office of the county government decides to follow up on the same, heads are likely to roll. The little that the bloggers might have been paid by Governor Wambora's opponent to malign the county will be nothing compared to the fine they'll be slapped with when found guilty.
