Voter turnout can be expected to be higher than last time for these two leaders: Raila Odinga and Lenny Kivuti of Embu County.

The two leaders have a few things in common  at their levels of government, national and County respectively.

For one, both of them are successful business men, secondly, they are the strongest opposition leaders; the former to president Uhuru Kenyatta and the latter to Embu governor Martin Wambora. Thirdly, they are both great crowd pullers.

5th of August 2017 turned out to be a day to be favourably remembered by the two men. On this day - the day all campaigns came to an end till elections 2017 - both politicians held rallies in Uhuru Park, Nairobi and Embu Stadium respectively.

The last but not least similarity is that in Embu, Lenny Kivuti out-did Wambora in terms of the crowd he pulled while Raila outshined Uhuru, who was at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru.

From the numbers of people who attended the opposition rallies, it appears this time round, there might be bigger voter turnouts in their favour as opposed to the incumbents.
