"...Mwananchi's needs and interests come first. My government will continue supporting initiatives that are geared towards improving the lives of our people"
Governor Wambora uttered the above words at Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) Cathedral in Kirimari Ward of Manyatta Sub county, on Sunday 10th October, 2016.

Accompanied by Embu First Lady Mrs. Teresiah Wambora, the Governor proceeded to preside over a fundraiser in aid of  developing a health facility to be run and managed by ACK - Diocese of Embu.

At the event, the church heaped praises on Embu County's Administration for scooping two prestigious awards in health sector recently, and assured their Governor of his reelection in 2017.

Later in the day, Wambora who is gaining more popularity throughout the County, joined Christian faithfuls for a fellowship at EAPC Runyenjes.

On the other hand, Kithinji Kiragu, the only other Embu County gubernatorial aspirant with a hope said, "...yes, Wambora may have had all roads in Embu tarmarcked and lights on some, but without coins in the ordinary guys' pockets, how does he help improve the standard of living?" However, KK contradicted himself when he said, "...guy comes, gives cash then disappears for the next five years...", this time reacting to Lenny's Day of Shame edition 2 that took place in Kanyuambora on Saturday, 9th October 2016, where it is alleged that a child died and scores injured in stampede as they scrambled for the tycoon's cash handouts.
