'YOU CAN'T CON A HONEST MAN!' Lenny Kivuti Supposedly Remarked Concerning Wambora

Unperturbed, Governor Wambora carries on with his development
Agenda
As the race to the the next general election heats up, revelations are coming to light concerning some of the reasons why Embu Senator, Lenny Kivuti ditched the Jubilee Party for Maendeleo ChapChap.

According to reliable sources close to the disgruntled politician, Mr Kivuti had had a blueprint drafted, a 'top secret' classified document detailing how he, in collaboration with a co-aspirant, would rig the JP nominations in April this year.

Before he Party-hopped, the poorly endowed leader, as far as oratory skills are concerned, is alleged to have orchestrated some political machinations aimed at having 'his people' hold powerful positions within the Jubilee Party interim Secretariat. '...His efforts had almost borne fruits were it not for the foresight of one Margret Lorna Kariuki..." Our informer at one point remarked.

The lady, who is going for Runyenjes parliamentary seat thwarted the ploy, and the outcome was an all inclusive Committee, which however tends to favour Ms. Cecily Mbarire, the other major contestant for the gubernatorial seat. This latter development has been attributed to the genius of one Raymond Kinyua, who is set to battle out for Runyenjes parliamentary seat with Maggie (above) and Eric Muchangi (Karemba)

The latter has however alienated himself and lost much of his popularity by aligning himself to Mr Kivuti, a.k.a Riceman.

The embittered Senator, before defecting to Dr. Alfred Mutua's Maendeleo Chapchap, is said to have lamented over his own dubious plan to unseat Governor Wambora, whereby he remarked, "You cannot con an honest man".

Governor Wambora's honesty has been substantiated by the fact that despite all the political games being played all around him in a bid to snatch power from him, he doggedly pushes forward with his agenda of making Embu County a better place for everyone. The incumbent's various development projects allover the County speak out for him.
