Residents of Mbeere South Constituency were on Friday 19 July 2019 presented with a magnificent show of Public - Private Partnership when Embu County Governor, H.E Martin Wambora graced the official launch of Nawiri SACCO, Kiritiri branch.

The event marked a special day not only for the fast growing organization but also for all stakeholders in the cooperative movement. Present were the Directors of the 110,000 member savings and credit organization, founded in 1968. Represented too were stakeholders from all coffee cooperative societies in Embu County, Churches, the business community, Secondary School Principals, friends and customer groups of Nawiri Sacco.

Addressing the well attended event, Governor Wambora pledged that his government is preparing a Cooperative Policy for Public Participation for presentation to the County Assembly of Embu for the purpose of safeguarding SACCOs and all other members of the Cooperative Movement in serving the people towards the achievement of the President's Big4 Agenda.
