Health Cabinet Secretary lauds Embu on COVID-19 preparedness

Health Cabinet Secretary, Mutahi Kagwe, has lauded efforts and preparedness put in place by Embu County Government in the fight against infection and spread of Covid-19. 

While addressing the nation at Embu level 5 hospital, CS Kagwe recognized Embu County for remaining infection-free even as cases in other parts of the country rise day by day.

While urging the people to keep up the good record, the CS urged residents to keep safe by minding the health of each other. 

"You save me, I save you", the CS said this is a new slogan all Kenyans should follow. 

He advised the public to continue paying keen interest in observing set directives to curb the spread of the pandemic.

The Cabinet Secretary donated assorted Personal Protection Equipment to Embu County among them ventilators and patient monitors. 

Embu County Governor Martin Wambora said the county is putting all measures in place to ensure that Embu does not register any Coronavirus case.
