DID LENNY KIVUTI REALLY OFFER TO BECOME WAMBORA'S RUNNING MATE IN 2017?

According to the grapevine, Saturday 26th November 2016 may have made history in Embu politics (Siasa za Embu). The political gossip may not be true but the show of unity was evident.

It is rumored that during the inauguration ceremony to mark the Award of Charter and Installation of the first Chancellor of the University of Embu, Senator Lenny Kivuti sat next to His Excellency the Governor of Embu Martin Wambora, whereby the former is said to have quietly offered to drop his gubernatorial bid and support the incumbent instead.

Ahadi Trust in collaboration with the Lotto Foundation are running the Ambulance Mashinani programme. Embu county received its ambulance the same day, to be patronaged by First Lady Theresia, so that those who have been asking what development activities she is involved in may be advised.

As the next general election draws nigh, it is high time the electrolate focused on real issues that not only impact on themselves but also on the community at large. Even as people drum up support for their various candidates, it is important to note that the County Government of Embu has really prioritized health, education and infrastructure development under the watch of Governor Wambora.
