EMBU County Secretary Rayie, Emerges Favorite MNA Candidate for Runyenjes Elite.

Raymond Kinyua (Rayie)
Unknown to many, an informal poll survey has been going on in Runyenjes constituency, with the elite (educated and informed) in the society as the population.

The survey aimed at establishing who among the four main contestants for Member of National Assembly (MNA) seat in Runyenjes is most likely to win. The four candidates are Eric Muchangi (Karemba), County Secretary Raymond Kinyua (Rayie), Lorna Kariuki (Maggie) and John Njiru Kathangu (Kivare).
Aspirant John Njiru Kathangu

While majority agreed that Karemba is currently the most popular, they were quick to point out that he may not possess the capability to set up strategies, structures and systems necessary to represent the populous constituency in parliament.

Runyenjes has approximately 89,000 registered voters.
They also unanimously agreed that the candidate likely to give Eric Muchangi, popularly known as Karemba, a run for his popularity is CS Rayie.

They argued that in the run up to the 2017 general election, starting to gain more speed this festive season, the various contestants will rigorously work towards making their development agendas known to the people.

On this, majority of interviewees observed that Rayie's manifesto is likely to emerge superior as compared to others, given his track record in the Sports department and the office of the County Secretary which he currently holds and that if voters apply their reasoning rather than emotions, they will vote Rayie in.
