AS DOCTORS GO ON STRIKE, EMBU PEOPLE HAVE LESS REASON TO WORRY.

It is now official that doctors allover the country are on strike. However, under governor Martin Wambora's leadership, Embu people have solace in the availability of excellent alternative medical attention, at affordable rates too, especially for those with NHIF.

On 30th November, 2016 governor Wambora, accompanied by his wife, Her Excellency Mrs Theresia Wambora hosted Her Excellency the First Lady Margaret Kenyatta at Diocese of Embu Consolata Hospital - Kyeni,, where she officially commissioned a Renal Unit at the hospital, located in Runyenjes Sub-county.

She also presided over handing-over celebrations of medical supplies and equipment container donated by Project C.U.R.E.

While some may claim that this major development is private, it must be remembered that beneficiaries are the people and for the First Lady to find the time to come to Embu and celebrate with us, it took direct effort and influence from governor Wambora.

Even those who had been bribing Embu MCAs so that they may reject budgets for various projects so that the incumbent may appear incompetent, have agreed that this is good and some even joined the governor and the First Lady to celebrate the achievement.
