GOVERNOR WAMBORA’S GENIUS; Parallel Tallying Centre Helps Thwart Rigging Plot in JP Primaries

As it has been said of old, ‘…the guilty are always afraid…’ and so Cess is afraid.

The establishment of a call and parallel tallying Centre in Embu County during the ongoing Jubilee Party primaries has in a great way put a stop to what was supposed to have a been one of the biggest political heists of the season.

Talk of hullabaloo, helter-skelter and every other word that could describe the fuss all around Embu politics today! But then the good news about it all is that, as it is written, ‘the just shall live by faith’.

It has come to the attention of Governor Wambora’s strategic team that a lot of machinations are going on in the desperate effort by the incumbent’s main opponent, Hon. Cecily Mbarire who is already lagging far behind as far as votes casted are concerned.
According to data collected by the very elite strategic team working for governor Wambora, the governor has garnered votes in doubles, so that while governor Wambora has 51,213 votes, Cess, as the Runyenjes MP is commonly referred to, has got 24,894 across all the wards of Embu County – as for now, at least, at 1:00pm on 26th April 2017.

However, according to intelligence reaching the office, the opponent’s camp is working with a few major media houses to mislead the people while working to tamper with votes and change what's recorded in the quest to actually rig the election. For instance, Citizen TV stopped relaying results since yester night but it worries the governor not a bit. All viewers are advised not to just believe all news that comes up on our TVs without verifying with Governor Wambora’s hotline.  It’s only a pity that Wambora’s antagonists don’t know what level of intellect they are dealing with here, anyway. All in all, Embu shall be great! Yes, Embu shall be great again like it was during the Mau Mau uprising. This shall happen only through the leadership of Governor Martin Wambora.
Cecily Mbarire casts her vote; she got zero votes in some polling stations despite her overconfidence

In order to save time, which is money, hence make the people of Embu and the country at large more prosperous; let it be remembered that whoever the Lord God has anointed, no weapon formed against him shall prosper. THE BATTLE IS ALREADY WON!

HON. CECILY MBARIRE UNDER FIRE! False Start Helps Uncover Rigging Plot in Jubilee Party Primaries

Cecily Mbarire and Speaker Justin Muturi when she declared that they are 'connected'

Friday 21st April, 2017 was a day that many all over Kenya had eagerly waited for, more so those with political interests; be it aspirants on the Jubilee Party ticket, their respective supporters or same seat contenders on other parties’ tickets.

It however turned into a day that political temperatures hit sky-high, with a wave of adrenalin surge elicited by barely veiled tension, fear and anxiety sweeping across the ruling party’s strongholds. The aura of euphoria that had dominated the eve of the D-Day, till dawn, slowly turned into apprehension, anger and frustration as the election got mercilessly delayed in most counties.
Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju announces the cancellation on national television

It ended up with the Jubilee Party cancelling the primaries countrywide, when Secretary General Raphael Tuju ordered voting and tallying stopped immediately. This decision was deemed to be the most apt, given the logistical hiccup that led to chaos all across the nation. In some areas, it was hell, fire and brimstone. In effect, the party called off the primaries in eleven counties; voting dates to be announced soon.

Angry voters burn ballot papers in Nakuru after the nominations were postponed

EMBU

Intel had revealed that some dishonest persons had been hired by unscrupulous politicians to get hold of the JP ballot papers beforehand, whereby they corrupted the whole system, with some polling stations receiving fewer papers and others getting none at all.

In Embu County, like in several other places, one of the two contenders in the gubernatorial race, Runyenjes MP Hon. Cecily Mbarire is said to have declared to her inner circle that she had already won even before voting began, as she considers herself to be one of Uhuru’s cronies. Little did she know that her camp had long been infiltrated by the incumbent governor’s intelligence network and some extremely vigilant agents had been deployed to be on the watch, and who in turn reported on what they had learnt concerning Hon. Mbarire’s plot to rig the election. Her false claims were not taken kindly by President Kenyatta, who later summoned the party’s officials, probably to decide on how to deal with such characters who tarnish the good name of the president for their own selfish gain.

PROPAGANDA ABOUT JUBILEE PARTY Nominations Goes a Notch Higher

The new strategy of branding vehicles adopted by Wambora's team
EMBU
Ahead of Jubilee Party primaries set to take place on Friday 21st April, 2017 for Embu County, lots of hearsay, rumors and gossip is doing rounds in the political grapevine. A certain air of euphoria is gradually intensifying, as evidenced by increased activity on various social media platforms, posters of aspirants all over the place and branded campaign vehicles crisscrossing the county with public address systems blaring. The electorate, that is the common ‘mwananchi’ or ‘Wanjiku’ is on the receiving end again, a trend that will most likely continue till the general election in August.
Some of the propaganda
going round on social
media platforms

The main contenders for the gubernatorial seat on the ruling Party’s ticket are the incumbent Governor Martin Wambora and MP for Runyenjes Constituency, Hon. Cecily Mbarire. Both of them are seasoned politicians who hail from Runyenjes and have represented the Constituency in parliament. Considering that these two ‘horses’ command almost equal following, going by last elections statistics, a lot has happened in the last four and a half years – a lot that voters shall put into consideration while casting the ballot.
After the nominations, one of the two above (second from left & second from right) will face the other two in August

All in all, a few factors will substancially contribute in determining who between the two emerges the winner. These include financial constraint, track record, and innovativeness in strategies, structures and systems then last but not least, propaganda.

Talking of propaganda, topmost is that after they publicly embarrassed themselves in Karurumo several months ago, Senator Kivuti and Hon. Mbarire are said to be back ‘in bed’ together, politically. The former is rumoured to have ‘wooed’ the latter back, using money to convince her that their fallout on that fateful day, in public too, will not matter to the voter.

Sources close to the MP have revealed that the easily provoked leader has received a huge sum of money from the Senator, which she is dishing out in a bid to lure the people into overlooking her underperformance for the past fifteen years in parliament; five as an Assistant Minister of Tourism.
Creativity is at peak, for or against various aspirants

Senator Kivuti is rumored to have reasoned that if Hon. Mbarire, fondly referred to as Cess wins the Jubilee nominations, it will be easier beating her in the general election than contending with the incumbent governor, who has gained favor and admiration from the people after surviving two impeachment attempts and going ahead to perform wonderfully well in the areas of education, health and infrastructure.

ROMANCE, POLITICS AND LEADERSHIP; Embu County First Lady and Mama Margaret Kenyatta Have This in Common...

President Uhuru Kenyatta congratulates First Lady Margaret upon completing her 'Beyond Zero' marathon, last year.
...they truly love their husbands.

With the general election merely three months away, the electorate in Embu seems to be inclined towards the incumbent, Martin Nyaga Wambora's side. This is attributable to his performance amid unrelenting opposition from some members of the County Assembly in political sabotage said to have been orchestrated by his main political challengers; outspoken Runyenjes MP, Cecily Mutitu Mbarire and outgoing Embu Senator Lenny Kivuti.

Governor Wambora is a man whose leadership style can only be compared to none other than that of former President Mwai Kibaki, as mentioned in another publication on this blog. A man of few words but many actions, Wambora blends perfectly well with the saying, ‘Actions speak louder than words’. He has in consequence come to be popularly referred  a to as 'Ciiko' (Actions) Nevertheless, in all the myriad projects all through the County, you cannot overlook the input of the humble politician's wife, Her Excellency Theresia Wambora, whose unwavering support to her husband cannot be underestimated.

Mama Theresia is undoubtfully a woman of leadership as has been witnessed during her husbands tenure as the boss of the rich county that is commonly referred to as the land of opportunities. During Wambora's failed impeachment plot, Theresia, remained steadfast by her man's side, especially so in the corridors of justice as the charismatic leader was swayed by his adversaries left, right and centre until the court cleared him of any wrong doing, to their dismay.

The soft-spoken but parsuasive lady has been in the frontline participating in development activities in almost every corner of the county. One of her greatest achievements is the Beyond Zero campaign which was initiated by another woman of good deeds, Her Excellency the first lady of the republic of Kenya, Margaret Kenyatta.

Just like President Kenyatta's wife , Theresia has managed to remain conscious of her role as a first lady; being by the governor, who himself seems most likely to maintain his seat as the CEO of Embu County, if for anything, his development record.

KIBAKI STYLE POLITICS That Has Enabled Wambora Thrive Over Political Foes.

Former president Kibaki reacts to his detractors
Embu County governor, Martin Nyaga Wambora is still the man to beat in the gubernatorial race in the rich Eastern Kenya County, despite starting his term in low gear especially because of the failed impeachment plot by Members of the County Assembly.  The man has managed to maintain his cool and embarked on developing the county, which is said to be among the richest in Kenya.
Governor Wambora at work in his office

Governor Wambora a.k.a Ciiko, the Kiembu word for actions, has successfully avoided engaging himself in cheap politics, a scheme his opposers have been using to detract him from his developmental agenda. The former Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) chairman is as good as Kenya’s third President Mwai Kibaki, whose administration performed exemplarily despite endless complains from President Kenyatta’s main challenger, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, who then shared Kibaki’s coalition (nusu mkate) government following the disputed outcome of the 2007 general elections.
A section of Thika super highway - a Kibaki legacy

Kibaki, a former Makerere University Economics lecturer is a perfect comparison of the Embu leader in view of the way he was able to maintain relative silence at a time when Raila and his herd sought to engage him in cheap political bickering. Wambora, who also studied at the famous Uganda University, has chosen to concentrate on improving the living standards of the Embu people rather than meaningless politicking that his challengers have constantly attempted to engage him in.

This action man, Wambora, has surely been up to the task. Embu is on a growth path and going by the number of projects that the rather humble politician has initiated, it is only apt for the Embu people to give him a second term come August, in order for him to finish the good work that he is doing in the county.

PRESIDENT UHURU KENYATTA And Embu Governor Martin Wambora Suffered Similar Trepidations.

President Kenyatta during troubled times

TWO TRIED AND TESTED LEADERS
As it is written, '... sorrow may endure for the night, but joy shall come in the morning...', and echoed by 'Wahenga' who said in Swahili, 'Baada ya dhiki, faraja' (after tribulation, jubilation), so did it happen for both the President of the republic of Kenya and Embu County Governor.

These two esteemed leaders may as well be said to have been to hell and back, for their respective levels of government.

The former, before becoming Head of State, was falsely accused of heinous crimes and wrongfully paraded at the International Criminal Court. He however emerged victorious and is today honored world over. The latter also passed through the same kind of testing, though at a smaller scale, when some misguided MCAs attempted to have him impeached for resisting corruption in the County Government, but emerged victorious when he was reinstated by the Court of Law as Embu County Governor.

The two warriors, like every other wise leader, have let bygones be bygones, forgiven their accusers and gone ahead to perform examplarily well for the people of Kenya.

... LET THERE BE LIGHT, And There Was Light!

A solar-powered floodlight in Embu
In reference to the Holy Scriptures, in Genesis 1: 4;
... And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

If you are reading this, then you are probably enlightened, and so able to decipher a logical argument; one that comprises of major and minor inferences leading to a reasonable conclusion, as illustrated below:

Inference 1: God saw that the light was good,

Inference 2: Any God-chosen leader will have similar opinion,

Inference 3: Embu Governor Martin Wambora knows that light is good, as evidenced by his floodlights program that has seen almost every market place magnificently lighted,

Conclusion: Wambora is a God-chosen leader.

To make things even better, Wambora's floodlights are solar-powered, tapping directly from God's sun. Talk about bringing the glory of the Almighty closer to His people. Those who have have had a chance to visit or pass through or be at Embu town or any other market place at night bear witness to the magnificence resulting from the lighting.
Embu town at night is as bright as during the day.
Those who really grasp the significance of the floodlights as far as business and security is concerned, will agree that this project is likely to tip the balance in favour of Governor Wambora. As we speak, below is the political situation in Embu, as reported by 'The Star' dated 1st April, 2017:
'The Jubilee Party and any other political outfit supporting the reelection of President Uhuru Kenyatta, ethnicity, financial muscle and the number of registered voters will determine the next Embu governor.
Governor Wambora at his office
In 2013, the county had 227,286 registered voters and by the end of the last mass voter registration ahead of August polls over 61,587 more were listed.
Political analysts say the candidate who will clinch the Jubilee Party nomination will have the highest chance of winning the seat because he or she will associate with President Kenyatta, and the dominant party in the region.
However, as happened in the last general election, money to run a well-oiled campaign will determine the Jubilee candidate and the overall winner in August 8.

Analysts say although President Kenyatta's TNA was the party of choice in the region in the last general election, many of its candidates lost in various seats to those of Kiraitu Murungi's APK, because they had the financial muscle to reach, influence and mobilise voters.

Governor Wambora has installed floodlights in 66 town centres and solar lighting in Embu town, with CCTV to monitor and enhance highway security.
