Digitisation and Digitalisation of Land Records 

The digitization of land records in the county is well underway, with the establishment of a fully operational GIS laboratory. The initiative to systematically document all public land within the digital system has commenced, marking a milestone in land governance.

Through a partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the GIS lab has procured essential hardware, which, when integrated with the existing 'humanware', ensures seamless functionality and operational efficacy. This undertaking represents a transformative step in resolving longstanding land tenure complexities across the county.

In line with this commitment, I have officially commissioned the Embu County Spatial Data Centre and GIS Laboratory, a game-changing infrastructure that will revolutionize land administration, enhance spatial intelligence, and optimize decision-making processes in land management.
