WAMBORA’S LEGACY Could Live Forever, Courtesy of ‘Ciiko Airlifts’

Governor Wambora is likened to Tom Mboya visionwise
So soon after his appointment as Chairman to the Security and Foreign Affairs Committee in the Council of Governors, Embu governor H.E. Martin Wambora is already considering how the opportunity could optimally benefit the people of Embu. Being a visionary leader, he realizes that investment in human resources is the best way to ensure that in future, there shall be no shortage of highly educated professionals to provide labor and entrepreneurship in Embu, and Kenya as a whole. How so?
Kirinyaga Governor, Anne Waiguru drew
much attention at the Council of Governors
Conference

In economics, we have four major factors of production or economic resources, so to say: Land, Capital, Labor and Entrepreneurship. For land and capital to be gainfully employed, competent labor and entrepreneurship is requisite. The economy therefore needs a highly learned, exposed and experienced workforce to provide strategic, tactical and operational management skills now and in future; especially in future.

To that end, Governor Wambora is about to implement a noble plan, similar to Tom Mboya’s “Operation Airlift Africa”, some 54 years ago. According to an article in New African Magazine dated 26th January, 2014, between 1959 and 1963, Kenya’s political icon, the late Tom Mboya organized the airlifting of 770 young men and women from Kenya and nine other East, Central, and Southern countries to go and study in the USA and come back to shape the future of their countries.
Young Barack Obama, former US president, with his late
father; a beneficiary of the program
Airlifted to America aboard specially chartered BOAC (British Overseas Airways Corporation) airplanes, the students were trained in the US to become everything from engineers and economists to agronomists and civil servants. They were really preparing, though, to become the future leaders of Kenya and fill positions in government and industry that the British would soon vacate.

Wambora’s initiative, possibly to be dubbed ‘Ciiko Airlifts’, is likely to be more effective as it will target a smaller population – Embu County. Beneficiaries will be the currently unemployed first degree holders in Embu, willing to pursue their Masters Degrees abroad then come back and serve their county, and country. That way, the soft-spoken but highly intelligent leader will be sure that when he retires in 2022, he will leave the county in competent hands - hands of visionary professionals who will steer the county towards the achievement of its vision, and keep the Wambora Legacy alive!

DID YOU SEE What Hurricane Irma Did To Investments In America? (VIDEO)

Another video, brought to you courtesy of Mid-Lane Commercial Agency.

This video is long; you are advised to watch it over WiFi. To watch, click on 'PLAY' below:
Thank goodness this did not happen in Kenya for if it had, so many would presently be crying foul after having lost their fortunes, all due to ignorance. The situation is different in the U.S., as everyone here is properly insured against all perils including natural calamities such as the hurricane Irma, floods, earthquakes and drought among other disastrous incidents.

On the contrary, in most developing countries, you will find people disregarding the need to take up insurance, with some arguing that taking up insurance is like inviting the perils. They will, in their mediocrity, say that God will take care of them, forgetting that such natural calamities are also known as 'Acts of god'.

Therefore, to avoid falling victim to such destruction as may be caused by political conflicts, accidents or natural calamities, it's wise to pick up your phone and contact insurance professionals who will freely advise you on the best insurance products offered by market leaders in the industry, depending on your need and ability. They'll go ahead to deliver your cover to your doorstep.

FROM RICHES TO RAGS: How To Avoid Becoming POOR As You Venture Into Investment

Another touching story, courtesy of Mid-Lane Insurance Agency:

A man sorrowfully looks at the remains of what used to be a thriving business
“If only I had insured my stock and the building against fire and burglary!” lamented the extremely distraught rich man who had suddenly become poor.

It might have been coincidental that just the previous week he had turned away an insurance agent for the fifth time. As sad as it was, an acronym a certain Financial Advisor had shared with me was proven to be true; that to be POOR stands for Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly.
The inferno that gutted down Gikomba market in Nairobi on,

LAUGH AND LEARN: A Teaching on Personal Accident Cover (VIDEO & STORY)

To comprehend this, DOUBLE TAP THE VIDEO ABOVE TO ENLARGE, THEN TOUCH PLAY (Twice) before reading the story

This story is brought to you courtesy of  Mid-Lane Insurance Agency; a market leader in provision of insurance products and services all over Mt. Kenya region.

Once upon a time, an investor  from abroad visited the Land of Opportunities, fell in love with the place and after touring the county, decided to stay and  invest in the business of second hand car dealership.

Given the conducive business environment, his business thrived, and him being a wise investor, made sure that he had his cars and business premises insured, through Mid-Lane Insurance Agency, one of the most reliable service providers in the industry.

He however overlooked one area; his own personal accident cover. So one day as he toured the forest land around Mt. Kenya, he had an accident - his car overturned. As he was not so badly injured, he found a place to sit and assess the situation. Well, his clothes were badly torn so that his vitals dangled, but he was too shocked to notice. At that moment, a wild cat appeared from the bushes, and as can be seen from the  video (above), lunged for the hanging organ.

Well, his car was compensated, but since he had no personal accident cover, the 'assets' he lost to the wild cat could not be replaced by any insurance company.

MORAL OF THE STORY

Have ALL your assets insured; yourself and your family too. A Personal Accident Cover costs as little as Ksh. 1,200 per year (Ksh 100 per month)

'The man of action' TAKES THE HELM ONCE AGAIN...

...and as the man's nick-name - Ciiko - depicts, the recently re-elected Governor of Embu County, Wambora, has let bygones be bygones and embraced the opportunity to lead 'The Land of Opportunities' for another five years of tangible and visible deeds.

During his Swearing-in ceremony held at Embu Stadium on Friday 18/8/2017, Governor Wambora - who was re-elected on 8/8/2017 - voiced his intention to work with all harmoniously, at all levels.

"I promise I will not let you down", He said to the jubilant crowd, amid cheers of praise and admiration.

The occasion marked the end of divisive politics and the beginning of wealth creation by the people through cooperative leadership.

To that effect, we have rebranded this online newsletter from SIASA ZA EMBU to RASLIMALI EMBU (Raslimali is Swahili for wealth/investment)

This move was taken in readiness to market Embu County, and the larger Mt. Kenya region to the rest of the world, as an investment hub and tourists' destination.
The magnificent snow-capped triple peaks of Mt. Kenya are clearly visible from Embu town  on any sunny morning and there is an adventurous route way to the top of the moutain
