MAY THE BEST MAN WIN For The Prosperity of Posterity!

President Kenyatta (right) and opposition leader Raila Odinga; from their respective expressions, it's clear who is confident and who is worried

Lest we be deceived, let it be known that the outcome of this year's general election is of great interest not only to Kenya but to the world as whole, and to the powers that be. World leaders have keenly monitored how the government has been ran for the past four and a half years, and if you consider the fact that devolution has literally worked and most development pledges achieved, you will agree with me that the government's scorecard under president Uhuru and his able governors is looking good.
President Kenyatta shakes hands with Embu governor Martin Wambora

One of the able governors who have been noted for their examplary performance is Embu's Martin Wambora. In spite of the numerous challenges that he has had to counter, the man has conquered and proved himself to be an able and visionary leader who cares for the posterity of Embu County and Kenya at large.

Among his 500 plus projects, one that has clearly stood out is the Early Childhood Development and Education program. Having foreseen the future of the county, governor Wambora has invested in the brains of our young ones by establishing modern classrooms for nursery school children all over the county, employed qualified teachers for them (on permanent and pensionable basis) and rolled out a free school milk program, to ensure that the future is secured.

This noble move would certainly not have been successful without the input of the Minister of Education in the county government, one Dr. Jamleck Muturi.

All those who have the country's best interest at heart will concur that the both President Kenyatta and Governor Wambora deserve a second term in office.

KIVUTI OUTSHINES WAMBORA IN TERMS OF CROWD-PULLING

THESE OPPOSITION LEADERS Are Likely To Attract a Higher Voter Turnout in their favour come 8/8/2017...
Embu gubernatorial aspirant Lenny Kivuti (left) with his MCC presidential candidate and Party leader and Machakos governor, Dr. Alfred Mutua

Voter turnout can be expected to be higher than last time for these two leaders: Raila Odinga and Lenny Kivuti of Embu County.
NASA leader Raila Odinga addresses one of the largest crowds in the history of Kenya politics

The two leaders have a few things in common  at their levels of government, national and County respectively.

For one, both of them are successful business men, secondly, they are the strongest opposition leaders; the former to president Uhuru Kenyatta and the latter to Embu governor Martin Wambora. Thirdly, they are both great crowd pullers.
More of the crowds that attended Kivuti's rally.

5th of August 2017 turned out to be a day to be favourably remembered by the two men. On this day - the day all campaigns came to an end till elections 2017 - both politicians held rallies in Uhuru Park, Nairobi and Embu Stadium respectively.

A smaller crowd attended Wambora's rally at Embu Stadium

The last but not least similarity is that in Embu, Lenny Kivuti out-did Wambora in terms of the crowd he pulled while Raila outshined Uhuru, who was at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru.

From the numbers of people who attended the opposition rallies, it appears this time round, there might be bigger voter turnouts in their favour as opposed to the incumbents.

ON CHRIS MSANDO: Why ICT Managers Suffer, Die (PHOTO & STORY)

The recent death of IEBC ICT Manager Chris Msando has elicited speculations into the relationship between such professionals' job descriptions and their fatal plights: 'Accidents', disappearances, torture and possible death.

One month ago, another man in the same capacity suffered an almost similar fate. The man's name is Mr. Murungaru, who had held almost the same position in Embu governor's campaign machinery. The highly intelligent manager had an accident - and a serious accident it was, involving a collision between his car and another vehicle. He is still admitted in a Nairobi hospital.

It all boils down to passwords, P.I.N.s and political secrets that only the victims are privy to. That's why good men suffer! Quick recovery Murungaru, R.I.P Msando.

OF MOSES, JESUS, KENYATTA AND WAMBORA

President Uhuru Kenyatta endorsed Embu governor Martin Wambora; both face opposition in spite of having performed well

Both President Uhuru Kenyatta and Embu governor Martin Wambora face stubbornness in spite of their  good performance. Just like in the old biblical days, Moses - a man chosen by God to lead His people out of slavery in Egypt - faced a hard time in the wilderness, as the Israelites, having lived through years of torture and discrimination in the hands of Pharaoh  mocked him, daring him to take them back to Egypt.

An illustration of Moses facing opposition from the same people he had rescued from slavery
The incumbent fourth president of independent Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta has transformed the country to notable standards. His good deeds include free maternal care, provision of eletric power to almost all regions of the republic, construction of roads, revival of long ‘dead’ parastatals and firms, improved health care, service delivery at the grassroots level, better security and the mega SGR project that has raised the nation’s image globally. But the son of Jomo has found himself on the receiving end from the 'Joshua'-led opposition.
The president addresses a mammoth crowd in Embu, where he endorsed governor Wambora

Perhaps it is human nature, for still the Son of Man, Jesus Christ was equally not spared. After teaching the ignorant, healing the sick, raising the dead, feeding multitudes, transforming water into wine and all the other deeds the savior did, he remained unpopular in his home area. Later, the people demanded to have a convicted criminal freed in place of a loving, caring Messiah sent from heaven.
An illustration of the torture Jesus Christ went through to save mankind

In the same way, governor Wambora is another victim of this peculiar human phenomenon. Ciiko (Actions), as the humble leader is commonly referred to, has been unfairly treated by some opposing forces within the rich highland county - The land of opportunities. He had had to go through a vigorous political scheme to have him impeached in his maiden days as the first governor of Embu. He however went ahead to beat his political foes when the court cleared him and declared him innocent.

In conclusion, Moses, the man of God delivered the children of Israel from slavery. Christ Jesus, the lamb of God won against every battle that he encountered, including defeating death after three days and delivered all believers from eternal damnation. Going by these viable  and real examples, it would be any wise man’s guess that come August 8th , Uhuru and Wambora will be winners, just like Moses and Jesus.

MRS. WAMBORA'S HATERS Advised To Read The Bible And Be Enlightened

President Uhuru Kenyatta (left) shakes hands with Embu governor Martin Wambora and County first lady Theresiah Wambora during the president's recent visit to the county.

Some people will never see any good thing any where, but no matter how hard the heart of man may be, the Word of God always has a way of getting through and changing perspectives. Therefore, those who are always on the case of Embu first lady Theresia Wambora, wrongfully finding fault with her are advised to remember that it is only the fruitful tree that has stones thrown at it in a bid to 'harvest' unripe fruits.

Truthfully speaking, those who complain that Mrs. Wambora never leaves her husbands side like other aspirants' wives should refer to Proverbs 31:10-12, 25-26 and verse 31...
Her Excellency Embu first lady Theresiah Wambora (right) has always been by her husband's side through out.
Below are some scriptures to justify Mrs Wambora's enviable commitment to her man:

Proverbs 31:10-12
[10]How hard it is to find a capable wife! She is worth far more than jewels!
[11]Her husband puts his confidence in her, and he will never be poor.
[12]As long as she lives, she does him good and never harm.

[23]Her husband is well known, one of the leading citizens.

[25]She is strong and respected and not afraid of the future.
[26]She speaks with a gentle wisdom.

[31]Give her credit for all she does. She deserves the respect of everyone.
... and governor Wambora equally loves and values his partner.

IF YOU CAN'T BEAT THEM - Join Them...

TALK OF MOVING CROWDS; Lenny Kivuti Knows How To Do It ( PHOTO & VIDEO)

Huge crowds typical to Lenny Kivuti's political rallies

The generosity attributed to Embu senator and gubernatorial aspirant, Lenny Kivuti, has seen him attract mammoth crowds wherever he goes. Earlier in the week during his meet-the-people tour in the upper Embu sub-counties, the people challenged him to prove to them that he was as 'loaded' as he is rumored to be. They challenged him to give them 200 shillings each. In response to this Mr. Kivuti took his time to present his manifesto and convince the people that it wasn't about handouts but what he intended to do if elected governor. He however managed to provide some 'fare' to those who had come from far to hear him out. They accepted the token with gratitude and promised to vote for him on 8/8/2017 - before following him to the next stop for more handouts.

Here below is a link to the video:

On the other hand, the incumbent governor of Embu Martin Wambora, who has in the past been nicknamed Wamunyinya (Miser) for neither giving handouts nor paying his workers on time, is of late said to be going 'softer on the wallet'; he has at last heeded good advice given him so that he no longer meets the people 'dry-mouthed' but shows his appreciation for the voters' time and support with reasonable stipends.
MONEY; Governor Wambora is said to be dealing with it sparingly but wisely

In other news from reliable sources, Governor Wambora has been warned to be more generous to those who do the online marketing for him or risk losing them to either LK's, KK's or TeamLeo's side, all who are known to be quite generous to their respective bloggers.

In response, 'Ciiko' (Actions), as Wambora is commonly known has put in place a better system for remunerating his online marketing team - with transparency and accountability to ensure that he gets value for his money.

BLOODSHED! Wicked Political Scheme Unveiled!

Moles strategically placed in the Lenny-Kathuri (LEKA) camp have revealed to Siasa za Embu, of an evil scheme being plotted against the incumbent Embu governor, H.E Martin Wambora. According to the sources, LK a.k.a Riceman is planning to pay for trucks to hit small cars on the Nairobi-Meru highway, specifically between Ena and Gakwegori.
An accident scene along the Nairobi-Meru highway

THE MISSION
All that is well ends well, but not in this case; reason being that the drivers' assignment is utterly wicked! They are supposed to drive as recklessly as possible along the stretch covering Country View hotel, an establishment owned by governor Wambora. The purpose of the reckless driving is to cause minor accidents timed to cause minimal injuries to themselves but hurt pedestrians and any bystanders. The vehicles are to overlap and overtake each other dangerously in the vicinity of the hotel, on consecutive days in the last week towards the general election on 8/8/2017. It is a wickedly contrived plot aimed at causing bloodshed around the area in a bid to try and convince voters that the massive popularity and support Wambora currently enjoys is not genuine but a result of blood 'sacrifice'.

The whole yarn has been spun by experts at mob psychology, who know very well how fast bad news travels and what impact it's likely to cause. Fortunately the scheme has been uncovered and necessary steps are being taken to counter the attack. After all, Wambora is a God-fearing man who lives and leads by biblical principles, and as it is written, '...the tribulations of a righteous man are many, but the Lord delivers him from them all'.
Governor Wambora is the preferred candidate for the majority, especially after the president's endorsement recently.

KITHINJI KIRAGU CONDEMNS LENNY KIVUTI For Allegedly Buying Votes

Aspirant Lenny Kivuti responds to Kithinji Kiragu's accusations

GOVERNOR WAMBORA'S OPPONENTS ATTACK EACH OTHER.

PNU’s Embu governor candidate Kithinji Kiragu (KK) has accused one of his rivals of bribing voters. Without mincing his words, KK bitterly complained that former senator Lenny Kivuti (LK) has embarked on an ID buying exercise whereby he is exchanging poor voters' identity cards for as little as Ksh 200, with the intention of ensuring that they don't vote come the general election.

He said the candidate wants to influence the outcome of the August 8 election through illegal means, instead of persuading them based on his manifesto. He added that LK's  manifesto itself is just a copy-paste job from governor Wambora's original.

Kiragu said such a candidate does not care about residents.
Kithinji Kiragu accused Lenny Kivuti of buying poor people's IDs

“He is only interested in power for his selfish gain and is keen to get it at whatever cost” He said.

While cautioning voters against electing corrupt politicians, he told the people that if they thought he (KK) is too old to lead, they'd better elect Wambora in stead of Lenny Kivuti.

In retaliation, LK claimed that KK is only suffering from SENILITY and that he will never win any election as his late father had 'cursed' him, instructing him to stick to business and avoid politics by all means.

A 'NUGGET' OF WISDOM: CONSISTENCY And Focus is Key To Success

Success isn't always about greatness. It's about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success. Greatness will come - Dwayne Johnson.

Dwayne Douglas Johnson, also known by his ring name The Rock, is an American actor, voice actor, producer, and professional wrestler. Given the levels of success he has attained, no one should have any reason to doubt this piece of wisdom.

In the context of Kenya politics, Embu County specifically, of the three major contenders in the gubernatorial race: Kithinji Kiragu (KK), Lenny Kivuti (LK) and the incumbent governor Martin Wambora, only one has exhibited the virtue of consistency.

PARTY POLITICS
In the the run up to the hotly contested party primaries held earlier this year, all the three candidates mentioned above had initially sought to clinch the Jubilee Party ticket, alongside Runyenjes MP Cecily Mbarire (Cess). However, a few weeks to the nominations, two of them freaked!
Lenny Kivuti (left) and Cecily Mbarire in a past
public confrontation about Jubilee Party
Fearing that they were not strong enough to face Cess, KK decamped to Party of National Unity (PNU) while LK jumped ship to Maendeleo Chap Chap (MCC). Governor Wambora, on the other hand held his ground consistently and faced the seemingly very strong Cess, and went ahead to beat her hands down.
Ms Cecily Mbarire when she joined Kithinji Kiragu,
after her fall-out with Lenny Kivuti
What does that tell us about the leadership qualities of KK and LK? It's clear; both Kithinji Kiragu and Lenny Kivuti are people who wouldn't stand strong when faced with competition. They are cowards, who have proved it by their lack of consistency.

Their inconsistency has brought them out as incompetent leaders.

That leaves us with only Governor Wambora, also known as 'Ciiko' (Actions) for his development record! Think about it...

POLITICAL DESPERATION By Envious Politician Endangers Citizens' Lives

The torn down governor's billboard at Kibugu market in Embu. A defeatist action by desperate opponents.

Jealousy seems to have taken over the emotions of one of the aspirants contending against Governor Wambora for the Embu gubernatorial position.
The billboard while being erected the previous day
According to eye witnesses interviewed at the crime scene, the perpetrators arrived at Kibugu market around 2am on 7/7/17 in three vehicles with covered number plates. They also wielded firearms. Using a ladder, they climbed up the metal frame and tore off governor Wambora's billboard. One of the watchmen we interviewed said that he dared not get close enough to identify any of them for fear of getting shot.

THE IMPACT
Sympathetic supporters of the incumbent governor said that the haters might have torn down the billboard but they didn't tear up their votes. Neither did they tear up the tarmacked Kibugu road nor any other development projects initiated by Governor Wambora, which include: Installation of State-of-The-Art buildings and equipment at Embu level 5 hospital, ECDE school milk program, and employment of 500 nursery school teachers on permanent and pensionable basis, among others.

"In fact, the shameful act has made us love governor Wambora all the more." Commented one of the residents, as others agreed with her in unison,

REMEDIAL ACTION
As we speak, investigations are under way. The fact that firearms were involved blows the whole affair out of proportion, so that it is no longer political sabotage but a criminal activity. Now that watchers have been deployed to watch over other billboards, let it be known that only one of the criminals needs to be identified and once arrested...their goose is cooked! They'll definitely spill the beans.

WHAT GOD HAS PUT TOGETHER LET NO MAN PUT ASUNDER!

Embu Senator Lenny Kivuti stands between Governor Wambora and County first lady, Theresiah Wambora during a prayer rally on 5th July, 2017 at Embu stadium. The national Second Lady, Rachael Ruto was in attendance.
It came as a shock to many to see former Embu Senator Lenny Kivuti in a prayer rally, considering that the man has been rumored to never mention the name of God; even to say a simple 'God bless you'.

Skeptics have it that the man had not attended the meeting for the sake of prayer but to perform certain rituals that included standing between the County First Couple!

POLITICAL 'COCK-FIGHT'! Lenny Kivuti On the Receiving End.

For the benefit of those who don't understand the Kiembu dialect, here is an explanation to the above caption:

Mutongoria njamba means a brave leader or a leading warrior. Njamba also means a male fowl (cock). It is a name that has become synonymous with Embu governor, Martin Wambora, for his heroic deeds.

The man is also known by his philosophy - Ciiko, which means 'Actions' or 'Deeds'

On the other hand, 'Riceman' refers to the out going  Embu Senator, Lenny Kivuti who is well known for serving people rice made in China, while exhibiting no leadership qualities. His slogan Twendane muno meaning 'Let's love each other much', is rather deceptive! it is only words, after all.

But it has been said, 'Actions speak louder than words'. It's therefore clear from the picture above, which cock is likely to win...

WHEN THE ‘RAT’ Decided To Drink From The SAME BOWL OF MILK As THE 'CAT'!

Lenny joining the president's convoy is like rat drinking milk
from the cat's bowl
Wonders will never cease!

Ever heard of the rat that shared the same bowl of milk with the cat? Considering that both the milk and the rat is food for the cat...

It doesn’t take rocket science to tell what will happen once the milk is finished…

Now, before you dismiss this picture as offensive, let’s have a political look at it.

When President Uhuru Kenyatta visited Embu County recently, he and Deputy President William Ruto had this purpose in mind: To kindly ask the electorate from the region to vote for them in the upcoming general election. They had also visited to drum up support for those aspirants vying for other seats on the Jubilee Party ticket. That is, those who emerged victorious in the party primaries held earlier in the year.

For the gubernatorial seat, the incumbent governor H.E Martin Wambora was the winner, while his main competitor, Lenny Kivuti had ran away from the battle and ditched Jubilee Party for Maendeleo Chap Chap. It was therefore quite unbecoming for Mr. Kivuti to tug along the president’s convoy, knowing very well that he had betrayed the party. No wonder the president didn’t recognize him but spoke highly of governor Wambora.

Looking at the top picture artistically, the president’s visit was the bowl of milk, and you can tell as much as I can, who between ‘cat’ and ‘rat’ is likely to devour the other once the milk is finished. (Politically speaking)

MORAL OF THE STORY: It is not very wise for one to insist on sharing his competitor’s meal.

PRESIDENT KENYATTA ENDORSES GOVERNOR WAMBORA!

President Uhuru Kenyatta exchanges a word with Governor Wambora during the Head of State's visit to Embu County.
Check! - Check mate is next - only those who play chess will understand what that means. Still, even to those who play other games, it's clear that president Uhuru Kenyatta, on his visit to Embu County, endorsed the incumbent governor Martin Wambora to carry on the mantle.
The mammoth crowd that attended the president's rally in Embu, where he and DP William Ruto urged the people to vote for Governor Wambora and Njeru Ndwiga as Senator

Deputy president Wiliam Ruto, on his part, urged the people to vote solely for those candidates vying on the Jubilee Party ticket. At Runyenjes town, the crowd went wild when the Deputy President called out for Eric Muchangi (Karemba) and commented that it will be the first time we will have a 'Mukurino' MP in Parliament.

Thus says the Lord, "Blessed is the man who finds favor with the king"

When the Lord says "Yes", nobody can say "No".

…OF MYTHS, TABOOS AND POLITICS.

Businessman Kithinji Kiragu (Left) with Embu
governor, Martin Wambora

You are about to know the reason why some politicians will never win…

Long long before the so-called civilization – when people would comfortably use leaves picked from path-side shrubs to wipe off mucus their noses and dispose them, as opposed to today when we use handkerchiefs and put the waste back into our pockets – children were so obedient to their parents and so disciplined as far as adhering by the societal norms was concerned.

Instead of Law Courts and the Penal Code, rules would be passed along from generation to generation through a network of myths, folk tales and taboos propagated by their elders.

Traditional African elders; propagators of the taboo system
In spite of modern education, westernization and all brainwashing that has evolved over the years, the African traditional belief system still holds strong. When a father instructs his son on what to do and what not to before the former passes away, the latter will follow the instructions to the letter, lest calamity befall him. For instance,  we have had cases of some men who have sold ancestral land against their late fathers’ instructions, and ended up becoming desperately poor. But before I go on and on with examples, allow me to relate all this to politics today, specifically politics of Embu County (Siasa za Embu)
gubernatorial aspirant Leonard Muriuki

According to reliable sources, one of the five gubernatorial aspirants in ‘the land of opportunity’ (Embu), may well be a victim of this traditional belief system. The five are businessman Kithinji Kiragu (KK), former P.S Cyrus Njiru, entrepreneur Leonard Muriuki, lands magnate Lenny Kivuti (LK) and the incumbent governor, Martin Wambora.
Former P.S Cyrus Njiru
Those who are in the know inform us that the businessman in the list had been sternly warned by his late father, not to engage in politics. He had been advised to do business only and avoid politics by all means; that if he would involve himself in politics, something will always happen to make him unsuccessful.

As it appears, the man seems to have been haunted by his late father’s directive, judging by the many years he has sought an elective position and failed miserably every time. Well, his businesses do quite well, but politics is evidently not for him.
